I have a huge update to share with all of you. First and foremost I'd love to offer some of my graphic novels for free in digital format in these trying and strange times.

I have a Kickstarter campaign currently live which was launched prior to the Corona Virus outbreak around the world. It's for a great high-end oversized book filled with beautiful art celebrating the character of the Redhead I co-created with Fabiano Neves I'd really appreciate it.

We've collected many of the numerous Red portraits, posters, cards, produced over the years by top artists into one awesome art book titled Painting the World Red.

The Kickstarter is 100% funded already and we're gunning now for some Stretch Goals.

I'm really proud of this book. It's something that I've been meaning to do ever since we started adding a Gallery of Guests Artists in every single The Few and Cursed book. It's just so cool to see the many interpretations of the same character - especially when such character is such a powerful presence like the Redhead.

ART ON ONE-EYED JACK VOL. 1 IS NEARLY COMPLETE!

That's right, artist BRÄO is almost done with all 67 pages worth of art for One-Eyed Jack Volume 1 and his work has just been insanely beautiful. 

We are a little bit behind schedule by a couple of weeks which is not bad considering we added a few pages to the narrative. At this point it's highly unlikely we will make our May 2020 fulfillment and I apologize for it.

But I try not to create a pressured environment for the artists so their art can really shine and breathe and I trust that you'll agree with me it was best to give Bräo the time he needed to deliver his work as you check out the previews below.

With Bräo looking to complete the art by April 15th I estimate our new fulfillment date sometime between late June/early July. But please bear in mind the current pandemic can delay our calendars, it is what it is, we are subject to the printer, the boat coming from Asia, the port, transport company and other factors.

I hope you enjoy the following previews though and everyone in our team cannot wait to make One-Eyed Jack available to you as soon as possible.

I will be back in touch again as soon as the art is complete and we start prepping files to go to print. You'll also be able to read the book in digital format at that time as well.

More page previews as we brush past the midway point of production!

Hey everyone!

It's been a while, I know, but rest assured we've been hard at work on One Eyed-Jack Vol. 1 and I'm ecstatic to say Bräo is already past the midway point having turned in over 30 pages of finished art!

It's been a blast working on this book and executing Zuiker's vision, I'm really proud of the work we have been doing and I know this will be a seminal graphic novel once the story is complete. I'm currently writing the last stretch of volume 1 and I hope to be done with the script by this weekend or early next week at the latest.

This means we are still on track to ship out rewards in May, however please be mindful that the tragic situation in China and Asia with the Coronavirus might push us back a little bit. We will do everything we can not to delay delivery but seeing how other productions have suffered delays the possibility exists.

This post though is about Bräo's recent pages so without further ado please enjoy these snapshots straight from Bräo's desk. These have not yet been scanned and treated on Photoshop and does not reflect the finished product. They already look pretty awesome though...

We've been quite busy and working hard on One-Eyed Jack and I must say I am absolutely in love with BRÄO's artwork on this project. It's looking amazing and so far we are still right on schedule.

The Few and Cursed universe is getting bigger with this latest graphic novel currently LIVE on Kickstarter through December 19th. Shadow Nation funded on Day 1 in less than ten hours and brings a complete and brand new story to the post-apocalyptic universe of the Redhead.

For those that never heard of this comic book series, The Few and Cursed is an old-fashioned western with a supernatural apocalyptic twist. It already spawned seven books and a board game and the best way to describe it is Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Mad Max.

If you are into fun and thrilling adventures make sure to come check out the story of a postwoman named LaVerne that must deliver a cursed package to the front-line of the Texas-Comanche War. This is a single-volume complete story and we're already unlocking some exciting content to go along with every package sent in the mail.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! $30K STRETCH GOAL UNLOCKED \o/

You did NOT disappoint! I can't believe we made it all the way up to $30K on our very first bout here on Kickstarter with One-Eyed Jack, well done!!!

On behalf of Anthony E. Zuiker, Bräo, Deyvison, Ron, Bethany, the whole team and myself:

A MOST HEARTFELT THANK YOU!

While Zuiker is the creative engine for One-Eyed Jack this is a project that really touched everyone in the team and pushed us to do our best to deliver not just what will be a powerful and touching graphic novel but also an experience to never let anyone forget #VegasStrong.

We always had the plan to fund with the comic the production for a deck of playing cards, one suit per book as we hope to do four volumes. We got close to funding the full suit this time around, in fact we got so close that we're only missing the King of Spades...

Well, not anymore!

Consider the $36K Stretch Goal unlocked and let's produce the full suit of Spades!!

WHAT NOW?

Now we go to work. Relentlessly and tirelessly. Bräo has been working on the pages already and we're already at about a 1/4 of the way. Both Bräo and I will be working closely with Zuiker to get this done in a timely and professional matter.

At least once a month I will be sharing sneak peeks and insights into our process and keeping you all up to date on our progress.

Please  note over the next 1-2 weeks, the credit card attached to your Kickstarter account will be charged your full pledge amount. If there is a problem, they will continue to retry the same card or any update payment method for 1-2 weeks.

It's always best to address any payment problems directly with Kickstarter but I will go over the errored pledges over the next week and reach out to backers to see if there's anything I can do to help.

IT'S CRAZY HOW FAR WE'VE COME! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I really appreciate every single pledge coming in and the show of support One-Eyed Jack has been getting since our launch day. I know it's a project that means to share some tough to swallow truths and that's never a nice experience but you courageous souls made publishing this book possible.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I'm happy to share and announce we've unlocked not just one but another two Stretch Goals after some phenomenal last 24hrs \o/

We are well on our way of funding production of an actual deck of playing cards based on One-Eyed Jack and painted by Bräo himself! 

We're currently $1,360.00 short of unlocking another set of cards leaving only the King of Spades as the ultimate stretch goal.

It's a battle against the clock but damn it if we don't have enough time and support to really go the extra mile and finish this marathon as strong as possible \o/

And what better way to get you all even more excited than sharing brand new pages Bräo has worked on?

Deborah Daring Series Finale

I've back Deborah Daring before and it's awesome to see Robbie Mack delivering the final chapter of his ultimate creation. He's had six previous Kickstarters that got fully funded and delivered making this his 7th bout and giving backers the opportunity to pledge with confidence.

From his own page: "Deborah Daring is the story about a perky paralegal with a military  background and a taste for trouble. Deb started moonlighting as a  private investigator, because she was getting bored to death with her  work at the office. Her investigations hadn’t been very exciting until  recently, when she took on a strange case from a mystery client. Now  she's got all the intrigue and excitement she can handle!"
